Just a warning to cyclists about "bike jacking" in the area. A cyclist was forced off the road in Goede Hoop weg on Saturday morning 6:30am - above Route 21 Corporate park and robbed of her bicycle at gunpoint - 2 shots were fired in the process by the criminals - one towards cyclist and other towards a car that stopped to help.

Passenger of White VW Polo - no number plates - jumped out and grabbed cellphone and bike. We believe there is a bakkie working together with the polo that loaded the bike. Cellphone was tracked to the informal settlement just up the road from St Georges Hotel.
