LESLEY SIMPSON COM.UNICATIONS is a well established PR & marketing agency specializing in Travel & tourism clients both inbound & outbound.

We are looking to urgently employ a mid-level marketing assistant in Johannesburg, to focus on one particular client, namely the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

Requirements include:
* minimum 5 years marketing experience, ideally in the world of outbound tourism.
* This could also be PR related as LSC is very PR focused
* A marketing or PR diploma
* Knowledge of social media & suitably creative to work in conjuction with trade partners.
* Good powerpoint/presentation skills
* Good writing skills
* Monthly reporting to client including monitoring trends is critical.
* Someone who has visited Thailand will be an added bonus.
* A passport

LSC is in the process of tweaking its logo & brand awareness! Feedback on the new design is very much appreciated.

Thirty years since opening doors to the tourism industry, our core ethos & philosophies have not changed. But these are changing times & there are some exciting new client developments in the pipeline including a magnificent game reserve of huge repute. As well as a client of many years who has returned to our portfolio. Tourism as we know was hugely affected during Covid-19 - including hospitality and all associated industries. Although there is much optimism again about inbound & outbound travel, the reality is we need to approach building brands & their awareness differently. Combining traditional, digital & social media communication strategies is essential. And that is what LSC does best. So watch this space!
