Members together with JMPD TRU received information from CI NW of a truck that had been involved in the theft of sheep.

Lookouts were given, members observed the truck, on arrival of the driver Members approached the truck.

On interviewing the driver he confirmed delivering the sheep to an address in Brakpan.

Members followed up the information and located the sheep on a plot in brakpan.

Owner of the sheep and all relevant steak holders were informed to process the scene.

Members were on duty when they received a lookout of a car that was involved in house robberies around JHB south area, information was that the vehicle had just attempted a house robbery in Meyersdal and that the same vehicle had been involved in a house robbery in January in Ridgeway.

Through the LPR network the car was picked up around the Cleveland policing area.

Members spotted the vehicle in Bedfordview, upon spotting members suspects immediately began to speed away.

A highspeed chase ensued and suspects started shooting at members, members of Jhb Flying Squad returned fire.

Two suspects were shot,the suspects lost control and crashed into other cars.

Four suspects were arrested and three fi****ms were found in their possession.

It was established that One of the fi****ms was robbed from a police officer in the Naledi policing area.

The car tested positive as Robbed from owner as per BRAMLEY cas.

On Tuesday, 22 January 2024, members were alerted to a white Corolla, with registration letters and number # # # # # #, entering the Mondeor area.

Information was that the vehicle did a robbery of a cellphone, outside a premises in Eldorado Park, earlier in the morning.

Members began searching the area, when the vehicle was spotted in Mondeor

Members were able to track down the complainant who advised that he was currently at Eldorado Park police station opening a case.

Members of JMPD TRU arrived to assist GTS members, in apprehending the suspect and to follow up further information

On Friday the 5th of January 2024, members were alerted to a white corolla with registration letters and number # # # # # # entering the Mondeor area.

Information was that the vehicle did an armed robbery the previous Saturday in the Mondeor vicinity.

Members began searching the area, when the vehicle was spotted in Ridgeway.

A high speed pursuit then ensued, the suspects evaded members and were lost in the Mondeor area, various members began to search the area for the suspects, suspects were once again spotted.

A high speed chase ensued from Mondeor through into Glenanda, with the suspects almost causing numerous crashes.

Vehicle came to a stop with one suspect jumping out and chasing away.

Members were able to apprehend 1 suspect who was in possession of a firearm.

Vehicle had false plates affixed to it as well.

While on scene members were alerted to a victim that had just been robbed of a cellphone and cash by the same vehicle, victim was at Mondeor station opening a case of armed robbery.

Suspect and vehicle being linked to other cases.

Suspect detained at Mondeor station and the vehicle booked into Aeroton under saps 13 number # #/ # # # #/ # #

Vehicle was then taken to Mondeor SAPS for further investigations, and established to have false Vin details.

On Tuesday 2023-11-14 members followed up on information of suspects who had committed a house robbery, in Wi******er Hills. Members then received information of the suspects' hideout.

The members proceeded to Tswali street in Zondi 2 Soweto. On arrival 2 suspects were found and officers requested to search the two suspects, when jewellery suspected to be taken from a house robbery, was found.

The officers then requested to search the suspects' room and the suspect agreed. Upon searching the room, A Skyworth TV, Hisense TV. 2 tablets phones and 1 Samsung cellphone and a Sansui Bluetooth speaker and more Jewellery were recovered.

The suspects were then placed under arrest for possession of stolen goods. LCRC was then contacted and the scene was processed by LCRC.

The suspects were detained at Jabulani SAPS, all exhibits were booked in at Jabulani SAP13.

On Saturday the 4th November 2023, members received information about a stolen Ford Ranger.

The coordinates of the ranger pointed to a shopping complex in Ridgeway.

Members identified the ranger in the parking lot, the operational team made the decision to observe the vehicle.

Members patrolled the centre on foot, after approximately 3 hours of observations, 1 suspect approached the vehicle and attempted to get it.

The operational team proceeded with the take down.

1 suspect was arrested and taken into custody at Mondeor SAPS and the vehicle booked in SAPS 13.

A well collaborated effort by all teams involved.
