🇿🇦 Happy Heritage Day from OPMEM Consulting

19/09/2026

Proud to have represented OPMEM Consulting at the UNHCR event, “75 Years of Solidarity with Refugees: Empowering Women, Strengthening Communities through Refugee-Led Organizations.”

I had the opportunity to present the ILO Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) model and share how entrepreneurship development can support refugee women’s self-reliance, economic inclusion and sustainable livelihoods.

Grateful for the opportunity to connect with UNHCR, UN Women, Refugee-Led Organizations and development partners committed to strengthening locally led solutions.

These youth were debating on the Importance of a Business plan. Some were saying it is not important yet others emphasized that a Business Plan is a MUST for every entrepreneurship. # SIYB Entrepreneurship training at Mount Carmel
