PACKAGE DELIVERY DRIVER
Location: Pretoria / Soshanguve, Gauteng

JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a reliable, responsible and customer-focused Package Delivery Driver to join our delivery team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering packages to customers across Pretoria and Soshanguve, ensuring that parcels are delivered safely, accurately and within the required timeframes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect and deliver packages to customers across Pretoria and Soshanguve.
Ensure the correct package is delivered to the correct customer and address.
Follow assigned delivery routes and use GPS/navigation applications.
Plan deliveries efficiently to minimise delays.
Contact customers when necessary regarding deliveries.
Obtain proof of delivery or customer confirmation.
Handle packages carefully and keep them secure during transportation.
Report failed deliveries, incorrect addresses, damaged packages and other issues.
Update delivery statuses accurately.
Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records.
Conduct basic daily vehicle checks and report faults.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good condition.
Follow all road-traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Assist with loading and organising packages when required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's licence.
Previous delivery, courier or driving experience will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of Pretoria, Soshanguve and surrounding areas.
Ability to use Google Maps or other GPS applications.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
Good time-management and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and complete multiple deliveries.
Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
Basic smartphone skills.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
Applicants must be able to provide the following documentation for verification:
Updated CV.
Copy of valid South African ID or valid work-authorisation documentation.
Copy of a valid driver's licence.
Recent driver's licence / professional driving documentation where applicable to the vehicle and role.
Any relevant driving or delivery experience documentation.
All required documents must be valid and authentic. Applicants may be required to undergo document verification and any other checks required by the company before appointment.
