Designed for electrical contractors, consulting engineers and system integrators, this one-day technical programme provides practical knowledge for specifying, designing and commissioning LV electrical systems.

The agenda includes:
- Static Var Generators (SVGs) & Power Factor Correction – sizing, harmonics, THD mitigation, resonance, detuned filters and application selection.
- Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) – installation best practices, programming, application scenarios and commissioning.
- AC & DC Surge Protection – protection strategies and system integration.

The BSLBATT ESS-Grid FlexiO is supporting two critical water pumping sites at L85 in Lusaka West, Zambia.

Each site combines 552.8 kWp solar PV, 450 kWh battery storage and a 750 kW PCS to stabilise power, prioritise solar for pumping and export surplus energy to the grid.

The result: more reliable pump operation, reduced grid reliance and greater continuity of water supply.

And with FlexiO’s modular design, each system can scale from 450 kWh up to 5 MWh as energy needs evolve.
