Myth and story are rooted in our human psyche and our instinctual bodies. I created Somatic Story® as an immersive process in which images, metaphors, archetypes and symbols from stories can be dropped into our individual and collective bodies as a pathway to deeper insight and meaning, and expanded possibilities.

In our next process, we will invite the archetype of the outcast, the Ugly Duckling. The outcast carries powerful capacities for healing both self and the family system. The journey, however, as anyone who has lived the experience will know, is a deeply painful one. And yet, if we are able to navigate this journey, the transformation is also softly wondrous.

I am so excited to share this experience on the 4th May in Johannesburg.

There are 3 spaces left.

This is a game-changer in strengths-based language and communication. Often I am met with a response akin to "I don't know" or silence. My response, "Ok I know you don't know, but if you were to know, what would you say?" The result is always a beautiful one 🌺. The person has permission to not know and to offer a thoughtful response anyway. It lets the inner critic rest. The questioner of course must respond in a way that creates forward movement, amplifying what's good and possible.

I look forward to your insights.

I have learnt, through deep personal experience and many wise teachers and teachings, that unintegrated trauma symptoms can and does impact one’s ability to show up fully and effectively; and I have experienced and observed, how deeply entrenched, unhealthy organisational dynamics can perpetuate t...
