This Freedom Day is a reminder of how far we’ve come as a country, but also how much further we still have to go when it comes to true economic inclusion.

For many disabled entrepreneurs, freedom is not only about rights. It is about whether they can access opportunities, build visibility, and grow within systems that allow them to participate fully.

Autism is not one experience, and it does not look the same for everyone.

Autism Spectrum Disorder can present differently from person to person. Some people are visibly autistic, while others may mask it and go unnoticed for years.

Because of this, many people are misunderstood or overlooked, especially girls and women who are often diagnosed much later.

This Autism Awareness Month, we want to take a step back and focus on understanding. Not assumptions. Not labels. Just learning and listening.

At nXtABLED, we believe access and visibility should not be limited by difference, and that starts with creating space for conversations like this.
