Being a white person in South Africa has changed drastically in the last 20 years

I left Johannesburg in February of 2008 and have only recently returned, seeking business opportunities to exploit. What I have witnessed in the 3 months since I've returned at the end of August is not only flabbergasting but presents a nightmare.

The traffic signs have all faded to the extent that you can not even see them.
The roads are so dilapidated that they are almost intraversable. Traffic lights in Johannesburg are but a mere suggestion
Motorists all don't seem to have a license to drive... Road rage becomes a reality when there are no laws that govern the roads of a community

Johannesburg has become a world where criminal intent rules and the Police have become the Thugs of this criminality

As a white man you dare not drive on the roads after 8:00 in the evenings. If you need to ask yourself why not, best don't find yourself and Jo'burg
