If you’re going to go plastic free, you may as well go large. The largest ever paper shopping bag was a whopping 22.5 metres long and 15.4 metres wide. According to Guinness World Records, the bag, unveiled in Bristol in 2015, was designed as an accurate scale replica of an ordinary shopping bag.
