Seeking Participants for Research Study!!!

I believe that research is not just about fulfilling academic requirements; it's about bringing attention to important issues, questioning established norms, and making an impact within the institutions I am part of. From a young age, I have always been driven to challenge boundaries and limitations. When I faced a life-threatening illness like Meningitis, I fought back against all odds, even when the doctors considered my survival a miracle. As a young black woman, I am determined to push the boundaries and demonstrate that achieving the seemingly impossible is indeed possible.

In my honours research, I delved into the Perceptions of Gender, Sexual Practices, and Gender Identity Representation in Movies from an Afrocentric Decolonising Kweer Theory and Social Psychology Perspective. In a diverse country like South Africa, societal norms regarding heteronormativity, gender, sexual identity, and gendered sexual practices deeply influence the perceptions and experiences of individuals and communities.

For my master's degree, I aim to explore the perceptions of identity and self among Black women, focusing on the stereotypes they face and guided by Afrocentric Decolonial Theory. I am seeking participants who are willing to share their experiences and create open spaces for discussions where Black women can tell their own stories, reclaiming their narratives and experiences.

If you are interested in participating, please contact me at 0737071599 or via email at [email protected]. Participants will be compensated for their time and invaluable contribution to the study.

Your support in spreading the word would be highly appreciated!

HR Desk: Is an employer entitled to reopen a disciplinary enquiry into the same offence after an employee has been found not guilty of that offence?

The question of whether an employer can discipline an employee twice for the same offence, after not been found guilty, has been a question which has been repeated asked. And so much is written on this subject but there seems to be no answer, as legal opinion is divided on this.

HR Desk: Can an employer collectively dismiss employees, where it is difficult to establish individual guilt, after discovering astonishing stock losses?

There are instances where employers are sometimes faced with losing fortune in stock shrinkage and cannot prove that the loss stem from theft by a particular group of employees. There is no evidence to prove it, as witnesses refuse to come forward or to testify.
