🔰In Zimbabwe 🇿🇼《●》: The Harare City Council has issued demolition notices for thousands of structures across more than 2️⃣0️⃣ suburbs and townships, including Kuwadzana, Budiriro, Glen View, Mabelreign, Belvedere, Greendale, and along the Harare Drive expansion route, saying the properties are illegal because they were built without approval on wetlands, road reserves, school sites, clinic land, and other public amenities.

While the government has temporarily halted evictions, requiring four months' notice before any demolitions, the council says it has a duty to inform the public now. Mayor Jacob Mafume has stated that demolitions are only "on hold" pending consultation with the Ministry, but notices have already been served.

The council maintains that structures built without approved plans, especially on land reserved for essential public amenities, cannot be legalized. "It may not happen today or tomorrow, but it will happen," the official added.

🔰In Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 《●》Anymore Zvitsva was been sentenced to an effective 8️⃣9️⃣ years in prison on 2️⃣0️⃣ May 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣.

Harare Regional Magistrate Francis Mapfumo handed down the sentence after Zvitsva pleaded guilty to 🔟 non-capital counts. The details of his current legal standing involves the various crimes of terror he committed.

The 8️⃣9️⃣-year sentence covers four counts of r**e, five counts of attempted murder, and one count of robbery.

Zvitsva targetted vulnerable individuals in the Guruve and Mvurwi areas. He pleaded guilty to these 🔟 counts, which the magistrate noted saved the court's time.

However,Zvitsva still has pending High Court murder trial.This 8️⃣9️⃣-year sentence does not cover his alleged killings.Because the Magistrates Court does not have jurisdiction over capital murder cases, his trial for the murders will be heard separately by the Zimbabwe High Court.

National police spokespersons have indicated that Zvitsva faces up to 2️⃣5️⃣ counts of murder stemming from his reign of terror‼️❌️⭕️❗️

ZIMBABWE REPUBLIC POLICE CONFIRM THE ARREST OF SONJA MADZIKANDA AND HER MOTHER

🔰In Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 《●》Sonja Madzikanda, the estranged ex-wife of controversial Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo, was arrested and detained at Highlands Police Station. She was taken into custody following criminal complaints filed by Chivayo amid their highly publicised divorce and child custody battle. Her mother, Tabitha Madzikanda, was also subsequently arrested.

According to police sources and statements made by Sonja Madzikanda in a viral video recorded from custody, her arrest stems from two specific dockets opened by Chivayo:

Chivayo accused her of stealing a digital device. Madzikanda claims he fabricated the charge because she discovered a "compromising video" on it featuring him and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, which undercuts official political narratives.

Chivayo opened a separate docket alleging that she blocked his legal rights to see their two minor children following a recent trip she made to China.

A day after Sonja's detention, her mother, Tabitha Madzikanda (a top executive at FBC Bank), was also arrested. Her lawyer, Rungano Mahuni, confirmed that her charges include:

1️⃣Fraud: Allegedly attempting to withdraw US💲1️⃣.4️⃣ million from Chivayo's children's trust account by trying to remove him as a financial signatory.
