7 Pointers for Super Smooth Transitions for First-timers

1. Wear to the race what you plan to swim in. Most people wear tri shorts or a tri suit. Have your cap & goggles handy.
2. Mark exactly where you put your bike and gear. Count the rows if you must.
3. Use a brightly coloured or patterned towel that you can spot easily.
4. Arrange your gear on your towel in the order that you'll be using it.
5. Sprinkle a little baby powder into your socks to help put them onto wet feet a little easier. Place them open inside your cycling shoes
5. Place your helmet on top of your handlebars so you won't forget it with your sunglasses and gloves inside the helmet.
6. Remember to mount your bicycle only once you exit the transition zone and dismount again just before entering the transition zone. NO riding inside the transition zone.
7. Have your running shoes unlaced and open, ready to slip on for your run.

Heavy rain and flooding in the Buffelsdrift Trail Park area compelled us to postpone King Price Trailseeker #2 Buffelsdrift to a future date.

After careful deliberation between ourselves, Cycling South Africa and Schools Cycling South Africa, the new date for King Price Trailseeker #2 Buffelsdrift was decided to be 11 March 2023.

Entries will automatically be transferred to the new date. Should the new date not be suitable, kindly contact our race office at [email protected] to arrange a rollover to any other Trailseeker event. We regret, no refunds.

BLS updates done!⛑️

The PSC event safety team joined the FTC Modderfontein team this morning for an American Heart Association BLS provider update. BLS currency is mandatory for our team members.

The training was facilitated by EPIC EM and we enjoyed having friends from Revive Medical and Netcare Education with us.
