Yup, that Digger – Electra Mining Africa’s brand-new mascot.

Born deep underground where the real graft happens, I’m part honey badger, part mining legend, and 100% mischief.

I dig, I explore, and I stick my nose where it doesn’t belong (because that’s usually where the lekker stuff is hiding).
From shiny new tech to big ideas, if it’s worth finding, I’ll sniff it out.
They say curiosity killed the cat, but lucky for me, I’m no cat.

The people have spoken, the name’s been chosen, and I’m here to bring the energy, the grit and a good dose of fun to Electra Mining Africa 2026.

A New Era Begins!

We recently hosted a vibrant breakfast launch event filled with laughter, energy, and inspiring moments. With media and industry leaders in attendance and the always-hilarious Alan Committie keeping the crowd entertained, we proudly unveiled two exciting new exhibitions: Cape Town Industrial Technology Expo and RE+ South Africa.

These future-focused shows will co-locate with Securex South Africa, A-OSH EXPO, Firexpo South Africa and FM Expo South Africa in 2026 and 2027, bringing technology, safety, sustainability, and facilities innovation together under one powerful roof.

🌍💚 Yesterday, the Propak Africa, Cape, and West Africa teams proudly supported IPSA during Clean-up & Recycle Week and the International Coastal Clean-up.

Led by Portfolio Director Mark Anderson, our team rolled up their sleeves to protect our rivers and coastlines while raising awareness about the importance of recycling and waste management.

One beach, one river, one piece of litter at a time - we’re committed to keeping our environment clean.
