This is super exciting! Parents of teens, I really encourage you to come along on Sunday. As a Teen Life Coach I can't emphasize enough the importance of a healthy community of peers for teenagers. I see noticeable differences in the the teens that I Coach who have friendships that despite this challenging stage, share a common enjoyment of good, clean fun.

If you're a parent of a teen, we want to invite you to a Youth Ministry Info Lunch happening next Sunday, 18 May, right after the service.

This will be a great opportunity to hear the vision for our Youth Ministry, meet Siyanda—who’ll be leading the team—and find out how you and your teen can get involved.

We'll provide light snacks and coffee, and we'd love for you to join us.

Authoritative parenting style is the most successful form of parenting. Children of Authoritative parents are more confident and secure in themselves and respond to the world around them from a place " I am valuable and I make a meaningful contribution".
Unfortunately I see many children who are parented with either authoritive, permissive or over involved parents. So often as parents we we parent our children through the lens of our own childhood experiences we had with our parents. This often plays out as a pendulum swing. Healthy, whole adults raise healthy, whole children thus breaking the cycle of disfunction by responding to their childrens needs rather than reacting from a place of their own childhood adaptations.
