Back to School Insta Review,
A Jumbo Battle: are popular brands always better?
We have recently received the new Le' Stat Kidz Jumbo 10's Colour Pencils and were immediately impressed at the quality feel, considering the price point. We decided to test them against a popular premium brand and show you the results! We've tried to be as fair and honest as possible and no editing has been applied to the image.
In the image above the "Premium Brand" is the shading on the left while the Le' Stat Kidz is, naturally, the right-hand side shading.
Thoughts 💠:
The Le' Stat Kidz Jumbo Colour Pencils produced brighter, more vivid colours. The exception was the yellow pencil, which was slightly weaker.
The Le' Stat colour pencils felt more "smooth" while colouring.
We were more partial to the lime green of the "premium brand" than the grass green of the Le Stat, but that comes down to personal preference.
The contrast between the two blue colours of the "Premium Brand" was disappointing, they were almost indistinguishable from each other.
The shape and size of the different sets of the Colour Pencils of the two brands were remarkably similar and there shouldn't be any difference felt in your child's hand when gripping the pencil.
Overall the Le' Stat Jumbo Colour Pencils provides much better value in our opinion!
