Managers and L&D teams: 4 days to COBIT®7, and here is a quick checklist.

Before 26 October 2026: confirm everyone studying COBIT 2019 has purchased their exam, and that any COBIT Implementing NIST candidate has sat theirs.
Before 26 April 2027: make sure COBIT 2019 exams are taken (no extensions).
From 27 October 2026: plan the COBIT®7 Foundation Certificate for your next cohort.

COBIT Implementing NIST candidates: your last date to take the exam is 26 October 2026, with no extensions, and the exam is no longer available for purchase.

6 days to COBIT®7. Save the key dates on slide 2. Your other transition questions, answered:
Is my COBIT 2019 exam prep wasted? No. Purchase your exam by 26 October 2026 and take it before 26 April 2027.
Can I get an extension? No, ISACA has confirmed there are no extensions.
New to COBIT? Take the COBIT®7 Foundation Certificate, available from 27 October 2026.
