The Young African Entrepreneurs Institute invites young people who have business ideas or at the early days of starting (less than 3 months) to participate in our Sungula Entrepreneurship Development Initiative (SEDI).

SEDI is an entrepreneurship foundation program which will focus on ideation, prototyping, business modeling & strategy, IP, and fundamentals of business finance and accounting. At the end of the program the participants will be able to launch/relaunch their businesses.

Dr. Stella has been nominated as a finalist for the 2020 Southern African Women In Leadership Awards.

Dr Stella is the Head of Department of Applied Information Systems within the College of Business and Economics at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). She serves as an advisor and board member for many organizations Dr Stella Bvuma, including Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), Pan African Information Communication Technology Association (PAICTA) among others .

She has a driven robust passion in the area of ICT for Development (ICT4D) and ICT adoption with the focus towards township and rural development. Currently she is engaged in research focusing on ICT adoption by township SMMEs in South Africa. She is also a member to the Council of the South African Institute of Computer Scientists and Information Technologists (SAICSIT).

Dr Stella is amongst the 32 women who contributed to We Will Lead Africa: Volume Two: Women, a collection of stories of impact change and transformation happening across Africa. these are stories of African women leaders who are having extraordinary impact every day. They provide insight and inspiration about what is possible when the contributions of women are celebrated, valued and amplified. SHE IS A TRAILBLAZER!!!
