Through our partnership with Volkswagen, the VW Vaya Cup continues to open real pathways into the global game - and this was a big step forward for the girls.

Up against Leeds United U16s and Derby County U16s, the lessons came quick: a tough 3–1 test vs Leeds, followed by a draw against Derby.

With World Down Syndrome Day marked this past weekend (21 March), these moments hit even deeper.

Special memories from our recent UK trip with Leeds United and the incredible work being done by the Leeds United Foundation alongside Sunshine & Smiles.

Spending time in these sessions with Lucas Radebe was a powerful reminder that football goes far beyond the pitch. It’s about inclusion, confidence, joy - and creating spaces where everyone belongs.

From the energy on the pitch to the smiles off it, this is what real impact looks like.

Massive respect to the coaches, the families, and every young player showing up with heart every single week. And to the Foundation - this is more than football, it’s life-changing work.

2026 is off to a strong start with Nice Guys Management Self-Defense Classes in Alex.

This year, Dino and Hekkie are continuing their mission of empowering young girls by teaching practical self-defense techniques and building confidence both on and off the mat.


Classes will run throughout February, with new groups of girls joining each session.
