The future of South African netball is being built one opportunity at a time ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’™

Forwardzone is proud to have played a role in delivering the DStv Schools Netball Challenge National Finals alongside our partners, helping create a platform where the countryโ€™s most promising young athletes could compete, grow and showcase their talent on the biggest school netball stage.

From unforgettable moments on court to lifelong memories off it, the tournament celebrated excellence, passion and the next generation of South African sport.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success, and congratulations to every player, coach, school and supporter who made the finals so special.

Today, we mourn the heartbreaking loss of one of our own.

To witness his journey from a promising young player to representing South Africa on the worldโ€™s biggest stage was a privilege. His impact reached far beyond the football pitch, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.

Our heartfelt condolences go to the Jaydenโ€™s family, loved ones, friends, teammates, clubs and everyone mourning this unimaginable loss.

Rest easy, Jayden. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. You will never be forgotten.

Tomorrow, history repeats itself.

16 years after South Africa opened the 2010 FIFA World Cup against Mexico, Bafana Bafana once again kick off footballโ€™s biggest tournament against the host nation.

A proud moment for South African football - and an even prouder moment for us to see Jayden Adams representing both his country, family, community and the Forwardzone family on the worldโ€™s biggest stage.

From local dreams to the global spotlight ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Wishing Jayden and the entire Bafana Bafana squad the very best as they begin their FIFA World Cup 2026 journey.

New stage. Same ambition โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Through our partnership with Volkswagen, the VW Vaya Cup continues to open real pathways into the global game - and this was a big step forward for the girls.

Up against Leeds United U16s and Derby County U16s, the lessons came quick: a tough 3โ€“1 test vs Leeds, followed by a draw against Derby.

Different environment. Higher intensity.
Exactly where growth happens.

Football is for everyone. Always ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

With World Down Syndrome Day marked this past weekend (21 March), these moments hit even deeper.

Special memories from our recent UK trip with Leeds United and the incredible work being done by the Leeds United Foundation alongside Sunshine & Smiles.

Spending time in these sessions with Lucas Radebe was a powerful reminder that football goes far beyond the pitch. Itโ€™s about inclusion, confidence, joy - and creating spaces where everyone belongs.

From the energy on the pitch to the smiles off it, this is what real impact looks like.

Massive respect to the coaches, the families, and every young player showing up with heart every single week. And to the Foundation - this is more than football, itโ€™s life-changing work.

First game on UK soil.
Chilly night at Thorp Arch.
And our boys? Right at home.

A 5โ€“5 draw vs Leeds United U13s - with a celebration that travelled all the way from South Ahh ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

Through our partnership with Volkswagen, this is what we set out to build: real moments, in real environments, against real opposition.

On to the next one.

From the VW Vaya Cup in South Africa to the UK ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆโœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

As Volkswagenโ€™s trusted advisory and experiential partner, Forwardzone had the privilege of shaping a journey that went far beyond the VW Vaya Cup - turning winners into global players.

We didnโ€™t just organise a trip - we designed a football experience.
โ€ข International fixtures vs elite academy opposition
โ€ข Live Premier League exposure
โ€ข Full UK cultural immersion

More than a trip.
A pathway.
