Happy New Year 2025

31/12/2024

Farewell, 2024. Welcome, 2025. May God Bless Us All In The Year to Come

By Cornel Zimba

Maseru, Lesotho - 31/12/2024

As the clock ticks down to the final moments of 2024, we bid farewell to a year that has brought us joy, sorrow, and countless memories. For many, this year has been a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with moments of triumph and loss.

Personally, I have experienced my share of heartache, having lost my beloved father-in-law, who will be laid to rest tomorrow. I take comfort in the knowledge that his gentle and caring soul will be received with open arms. I also remember my dad, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at 07:45. The pain of losing loved ones never truly fades, but I find solace in the fact that their memories will live on in our hearts.

As we stand at the threshold of a new year, I encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the past year. Spend time in prayer, or attend an overnight vigil to express gratitude to God for guiding us through the ups and downs of 2024.

As we welcome 2025, let us not forget that every second that passes will never be back again in our lifetime. It is essential to cultivate a spirit of gratitude, thanking God for everything, no matter how big or small.

As we embark on this new journey, let us hold on to hope, faith, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. May 2025 bring us smiles, laughter, and joy, even in the midst of challenges.

As we move forward, let us remember to shower our loved ones with love, care, and compassion. Let us cherish every moment we share with them, and create memories that will last a lifetime. May our hearts be filled with kindness, empathy, and understanding.

May we also extend our love and care to those who are hurting, struggling, or feeling alone. May we be a source of comfort, strength, and hope to those around us. Let us remember that we are all in this together, and that our collective humanity is what makes us strong.

As we navigate the ups and downs of life, let us hold on to the power of love and forgiveness. May we choose to forgive those who have wronged us, and may we seek forgiveness from those we have hurt. Let us remember that love and forgiveness are the keys to healing, growth, and transformation.

In the end, it is not the years we live, but the love we share, the memories we create, and the positive impact we have on those around us that truly matter. May we strive to live a life of purpose, meaning, and love, and may we make the most of every moment we have been given.

Unlocking Africa's Potential: Taking Control of Our Resources and Building a Brighter Future

Africa, the cradle of humanity, is blessed with an abundance of natural resources, vibrant cultures, and resilient people. Yet, we remain beholden to external powers, relinquishing control over our destiny. It's time for Africa to awaken, unite, and harness our collective strength to build a prosperous future.

For centuries, external forces have exploited our resources, dictating our economic and political trajectories. This must end. Africa must take full control of its resources, from minerals and metals to agricultural produce and energy sources. We must break free from the shackles of dependency and forge our own path.

The capacity to drive transformation exists within Africa. We boast some of the world's fastest-growing economies, innovative entrepreneurs, and a burgeoning middle class. By fostering self-reliance and regional cooperation, we can unlock our true potential.

Imagine Africa building its own Europes and Asias – hubs of industrialization, technological advancement, and sustainable development. We can create intra-African trade networks, invest in education and skills development, and harness our vast natural resources to fuel growth.

Unity and collective action are crucial. We must put aside petty differences and work towards a common goal: an Africa that is prosperous, peaceful, and proud. By doing so, we'll become a global force to be reckoned with, dictating our own terms and shaping our own destiny.

The time for excuses is over. Africa, let us rise and take control of our future. We have the capacity, the talent, and the determination. Together, we can build a brighter tomorrow – an Africa that is truly free, prosperous, and powerful.

IF OTHERS HAVE DONE IT; WE CAN ALSO DO IT, GOD IS GOD OF EQUAL CHANCES

As a Big Blade-Auto Body Repair Chief Executive Officer today took time to visit Irizar Bus Company in Centurion town in South Africa.

My objective of visiting the company was to make sure that, I learn more so that we give our clients in Zambia quality service. There is need to bring bus servicing closer to the people back home.

Big Blade-Auto Body Repair is located in Chilanga next to Ndozo lodge off Kafue road. If you're coming from northern direction the first round about you follow the left direction and it will take you to the company.

I am humbled that so far United Bus Of Zambia (UBZ) have entrusted us with their buses for servicing, panel beating, painting and polishing among other things.

By God's grace will strive for quality service and to be the leading Auto-Body repair company in Zambia by remaining attentive to every vehicle that comes through our doors, while diligently working towards 100% customer satisfaction.
