By JvR Landgoed in die Noordwes-provinsie het Wintec Solutions onlangs ’n nuwe mylpaal bereik met die suksesvolle implementering van die GSatRancher spoor boksie (Gadget).

Een van hul koeie, Cremora, is toegerus met ’n spoor boksie (Gadget) wat direk aan haar oor gemonteer is.

Hierdie slim toestel stel boere in staat om in reële tyd Cremora se bewegings te monitor, haar gunsteling weivelde te identifiseer en vroeë waarskuwingstekens van moontlike probleme te sien.

Die GSatTrack-dashboard bied ’n gebruikersvriendelike koppelvlak waar patrone oor tyd maklik besigtig kan word.

Met die byvoeging van funksies soos virtuele heinings (geofences), kan boere dadelik ’n kennisgewing ontvang as ’n dier buite sy normale area beweeg.

Dit verhoog veiligheid en verminder die risiko van veediefstal, wat jaarliks miljoene aan verliese vir die Suid-Afrikaanse beesbedryf veroorsaak.

🐂Die aktiwiteitsvlak (VeDBA = 5.0 g) dui aan dat sy aktief beweeg het – waarskynlik besig om te wei.
⚠️Belangrik: die toestel was nie in lae-krag modus nie en het akkurate data gestuur.
Die GSatRancher spoor boksie (Gadget) bied dus nie net gemoedsrus nie, maar is ook ’n waardevolle bestuursinstrument vir moderne boerdery.
