Making an impact in the recycling industry starts by speaking to the right people. We were proud to be a part of WasteCon 2026.

Mpact was represented by Kevin Matthews, National Operations Manager at Mpact Recycling, and Loutjie de Jongh, Managing Director of Mpact Plastics Containers among other colleagues.

Contributing towards the circular economy means participating in important conversations around waste management and recycling in South Africa. Events like WasteCon 2026 remind us of the value of bringing different parts of the industry together to exchange ideas, learn from one another and explore practical ways of building a more sustainable future.

This year is particularly special as IWMSA celebrates 50 years of commitment, innovation and leadership in sustainable waste management.
