As part of Su***de Awareness Month, the PsyCaD staff and our PsyCaD Ambassadors have been creating spaces for students to pause, connect and remind each other that they don’t have to go through difficult moments alone. 🧡

Through our Su***de Prevention Campaign, we’ve been engaging with students in simple but meaningful ways — from sharing anonymous words of encouragement, to giving students an opportunity to write their thoughts, messages and reflections about su***de and place them in our message jar.

Sometimes, it’s the simple things that matter. A kind message. A conversation. Asking someone if they’re okay. Listening without judgement. Encouraging someone to reach out for help.

If you’re struggling, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need someone to talk to, PsyCaD is here for you. You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable before reaching out.

Let’s keep checking in on one another.
Let’s keep listening.
And most importantly, let’s keep talking. 🧡

We commend the UJ students who participated in the UJ-TVET-HEIs Entrepreneurial Project hosted by the Johannesburg Business School (JBS).

As part of this Erasmus+ funded initiative, students took part in an intensive entrepreneurial skills training programme designed to help them develop and strengthen their business ideas. Throughout the programme, they explored opportunity recognition and validation, business model innovation, entrepreneurial mindset development, idea testing, case study methodologies, and practical entrepreneurial tools.

By engaging in hands-on learning and real-world problem-solving, these students have taken an important step towards turning innovative ideas into sustainable business opportunities. Well done to all who participated in this valuable learning experience! 🧡
