I always say that one of the worst pieces of advise I ever got as a leader was “Be a pit-bull in heels” - this never spoke to me or landed well. I’m on a quest to being a generous leader, one that elevates and supports. Your leadership style needs to have authenticity and care whilst watching the numbers and creating sustainable frameworks. I want my teams to truly love what they do…and do it without anxiety or constantly second guessing themselves. As leaders we must understand a generational task. I’m not saying I have perfected this…I’m still learning…still a student…but always open to listening and hopefully elevating 🙏🏾
