The Advocacy Media Print (AMP) Studio is a silk-screening studio that was launched on the 11th of November 2011 by the One In Nine Campaign, after 4 years of running the Art as Advocacy project in partnership with the Curriculum Development Project (CDP), funded by SAIH. The project aimed at equipping member organisations of the campaign with skills to produce their own media and take back the process of media making for their advocacy work. The campaign works for social justice in a society where the sexual rights of women are respected upheld and advanced .The studio consists of eight le***an women who identify as activists and feminists and come from different backgrounds with extensive political understanding which contributes to the work that is created. The group is also involved in other work done by other organisations in fighting for women’s freedoms.
