This week at BNI Dynamite, we had our much-anticipated Visitor's Day, and it was so great welcoming new faces into our chapter.

But have you ever wondered why visitors are such a big deal? Imagine 25 members in a room, welcoming 18 visitors ... that’s 18 new people to connect with, share ideas with, do business with and possibly welcome as our newest Dynamite members.

Every visitor brings something different to the table, and you never know what amazing connections could come from simply showing up.

Another week, another Dynamite meeting, and this chapter is definitely not sitting around twiddling its thumbs.

Huge kudos to Cale from BlueLine Marketing, Andria from Innovation Wealth Financial Services, and Janica from Wilkens Accounting Solutions ... our new Top 3. Steering the ship with confidence, and professionalism.

Andrea from ADP Architects blew us away with her feature presentation, showing how she turns building visions into something functional, practical and seriously impressive.

We celebrated Jaap from Inspired by Nature and Shikar from Zilo Personalization renewing their memberships ... clearly, they’ve discovered the secret ... Dynamite is hard to leave.

And a huge shout-out to everyone who stepped up this week to help grow our chapter ... inviting visitors, making connections, supporting one another and putting in the work. That’s how we make Dynamite ... well, DYNAMITE.

In our education slot, Dr Marian reminded us ... referrals are fantastic, but you actually have to follow them up. And Peter brought us the Core Value of Lifelong Learning.

Last Wednesday, we said goodbye to our Top 3 as their term came to an end ... but don’t worry ... Dynamite isn’t slowing down. We’re simply changing captains, not losing momentum.

This Wednesday, our new Top 3 take the helm, ready to guide Dynamite from strength to strength. Cale from BlueLine Marketing steps in as our President, leading the chapter and setting the direction.

Andria from Innovation Wealth Financial Services takes on the role of Vice President, supporting Cale and helping keep our chapter moving forward. And Janica from Wilkens Accounting Solutions returns for a second term as our Secretary/Treasurer, keeping us organised and our finances on track ... because someone has to know where the numbers are hiding.

As a chapter, we’re excited to give our full support to the new Top 3 and continue building on the great groundwork laid down by Anthony and his team.

This Wednesday the 7th, we’re putting the blueprints, jargon and possibly the sanity on the table as Andrea from ADP Architects takes centre stage as our featured presenter at BNI Dynamite.

Expect some crazy architectural terms, including cantilevers, fenestration, brutalism, tectonics, clerestories, and adaptive reuse.

But behind all the fancy terminology is something seriously valuable ... great design, clever spaces and architectural solutions that turn ideas into reality.

Wednesday at BNI Dynamite ... and Mother Nature clearly wanted to network too. She brought us a chilly 5 degrees, a high of 11, and enough rain to test our commitment ... but Dynamite doesn’t do “rain check”.

The team arrived warm, energised and ready to connect, and Andrea reminded us why visitors are so important. They may not join the family today, but they could be tomorrow’s biggest business connection.

And speaking of making connections, Christine, Blu, Brad and Cale were recognised as last week’s top performers, while Nathi from MN Investment Electrical took the nod for best weekly presentation.

Then it was Andisha’s turn, delivering her very first feature presentation for PostNet Northcliff. Printing, courier services, background checks and more ... basically, if you need something sent, printed or checked, Andisha has you covered.

We also said a big thank you to Anthony, Blu and Janica as their leadership term comes to an end. Your dedication and guidance has helped make Dynamite the chapter it is today.

Heritage Day may have passed, but at Dynamite, we’re still celebrating our greatest heritage ... our people.

This week, we were packed with guests checking out what makes Dynamite tick ... and supporting our featured presenter, Cale from BlueLine Marketing.

Ambassador Lucy tackled Accountability ... keeping each other on our toes, because apparently, that’s kindness with a little pressure. Qondani, in the Edu-slot, reminded us about using mentoring 1-2-1s ... helping each other out and making the BNI journey a whole lot easier, and we celebrated our top performers.

Then Cale, in his presentation, showed us how to get more from digital marketing ... because your brand is one of your biggest assets. If people can’t find you, they can’t remember you.

Another Dynamite Wednesday ... and once again, we packed a lot into one morning.

President Anthony put Heinoux on the spot and asked which BNI Core Value he liked best. He went with Positive Attitude ... because positivity builds trust and stronger relationships. And let’s be honest ... it’s pretty difficult to be negative when everyone’s cheering each other on.

Then came the recognition of members who are leading the way in helping build the chapter ... great stuff guys.

Cale reminded us in his Edu-slot ... when you’re doing a 121, actually listen. You never know who in your network might hold the connection someone needs.

One of our visitors mentioned how he loved the variety of businesses, the opportunities, and the fact that we genuinely have each other’s backs.

And Fleur from Fleur Wood Interior Design showed us how an “I’ve got an idea…” can become something seriously beautiful.
