Implats has seven mining operations and the toll-refining business, Impala Refining Services. Our mines are located on three of the most significant PGM deposits in the world: the Bushveld Complex in South Africa, the Canadian Shield in North America and the Great Dyke in Zimbabwe. Implats’ mining operations include Impala Rustenburg, Impala Bafokeng, Zimplats, Marula, Impala Canada’s Lac des Iles, Mimosa and Two Rivers.

Implats is proud to have achieved our highest-ever score in our latest S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment, improving to 68/100 and placing the Group in the 96th percentile globally in the metals and mining sector, as at 14 October 2026. This positions us above the industry average of 33/100 and marks significant progress from our inaugural score of 48/100 in 2020. The score is a globally recognised benchmark of our environmental, social and governance performance, reflecting how effectively we manage sustainability-related risks and opportunities relative to our industry peers. We remain focused on continuous improvement and strengthening our environmental commitments and performance. Marula employees put their energy and determination on full display at the Biggest Loser 5km and 10km Colour Fun Run/Walk on 10 October 2026. From running and walking to high-energy aerobics sessions, participants embraced healthy lifestyles while raising awareness about the importance of fitness and reducing the risk of lifestyle-related diseases. More than just a colourful and fun-filled event, the initiative reinforced our commitment to employee wellbeing, teamwork and building a healthier, more active workforce. Participants were rewarded with medals, branded Biggest Loser T-Shirts and watches in recognition of their dedication and progress on their wellness journey. Together, we are taking positive steps towards healthier lives.
