| PURQ Explores Rhodes University’s RU120 Exhibition

Our Head of Data Management recently visited Rhodes University to experience the 'A Glimpse Through the Years' exhibition.

This visit followed a meeting with Prof. Adele Moodly, the current Registrar, where they discussed potential collaboration opportunities between PURCO SA and Rhodes University.

The exhibition, part of Rhodes University's bicentennial celebration known as RU120, commemorates 120 years of the Registrar’s Division. It highlights the division’s enduring legacy, achievements, and impact, celebrating past and present excellence, innovation, and community as part of the year-long RU120 festivities.

Enhancing Collaboration at the University of KwaZulu-Natal

Our Head of Data Management, Ms. Tebogo Rakgatla, is pictured with Mr. Bruce Banda, Director of Student Academic Administration at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, during her recent visit to the university.

They met to explore and discuss potential collaborations between the institution and PURQ.

Both Mr. Banda and Ms. Rakgatla will be featured speakers at the upcoming 2024 PURCO SA Conference & Exhibition, taking place at the CTICC in Cape Town.

| Meet the team: Tebogo Rakgatla, the Head of Data Management for PURQ.

She is a seasoned pro with over 20 years in business, sales, marketing, and digital transformation. Armed with a Master of Business Leadership from UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership, specializing in digital transformation and innovation, Tebogo also boasts a background in Marketing.

Currently, as Head of PURQ, she leads the Data Management team, steering Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Beyond her career, Tebogo thrives on entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, and self-improvement. She's a certified Life & Mindfulness Coach and an engaging Speaker too!

University News | New engineering qualifications proposed for South Africa

The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) has proposed 13 new occupational qualifications, which are available for public comment.
These qualifications range from National Qualification Framework (NQF) level 3 to level 6 and include four engineering qualifications.
