🚨 MAJOR DAGGA LABORATORY BUST IN DE DEUR 🚨

Today, an intelligence-driven operation in De Deur resulted in the arrest of five suspects and the discovery of a large hydroponic dagga laboratory with an estimated value of over R1 million. 🌿🚔

During the operation, authorities also recovered a .303 rifle and a 9mm pistol.

Expol Security is proud to have assisted Gauteng SAPS and the specialised units involved in this successful operation. This is another example of what can be achieved when law enforcement, specialised units and private security work together towards a common goal — fighting crime and keeping our communities safe. 🛡️

🚨 TRAILERS RECOVERED | JOHANNESBURG SOUTH 🚨

A rapid response by Expol Security Tactical Units led to the successful recovery of two hijacked trailers in the De Deur area.

After receiving information regarding the incident, Expol Tactical Units immediately mobilised and responded to the location. Through swift action and follow-up, both trailers were located abandoned in an open veld along the R82.

Although the cargo had already been removed and no suspects were found on the scene, the recovery of both trailers prevented further losses and ensured that valuable evidence could be preserved for investigation.

🚨 MAJOR FI****MS BUST! 🚨

A 42-year-old suspect has been arrested following an intelligence-driven operation by the Umzinyathi District Crime Intelligence Unit and Newcastle POP Unit.

Police swooped on a property in the Bahulazi Reserve area during the early hours of Tuesday morning after receiving information about unlicensed fi****ms allegedly being supplied to individuals involved in stock theft-related crimes.

🔥 Recovered during the operation:
🔹 7 Unlicensed Fi****ms
🔹 3 Rifles (.303, Mosin-Nagant and SKS 7.62)
🔹 4 Pistols
🔹 Ammunition

The suspect was arrested on the scene and is expected to appear before the Msinga Magistrate’s Court on charges relating to the unlawful possession of fi****ms and ammunition.

⚠️ All fi****ms will undergo ballistic testing to determine whether they have been used in other crimes.

This successful operation has potentially prevented numerous violent crimes and highlights the importance of intelligence-led policing in keeping communities safe.

🚨 OPERATION KARABO DELIVERS RESULTS! 🚨

Law enforcement agencies continue to tighten the net on illegal mining activities across Gauteng.

During coordinated operations in Roodepoort and Langlaagte, members of the SANDF, POP, K9 Unit and Vispol recovered and seized:

✅ 34 rounds of AK-47 ammunition
✅ 19 pendukas
✅ 4 stamping pots
✅ 1 stamping stick
✅ 40 iron balls
✅ Alcohol linked to illegal mining activities

In a separate breakthrough in Carletonville, police arrested two suspects, aged 23 and 24, after they were found in possession of:

💥 10 tube explosives
💥 16 detonators
💥 10m detonator cord

The suspects are expected to appear in court on charges relating to the possession of explosives.

👏 Another step forward in the fight against illegal mining and criminal activity. Communities are encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to the authorities.

Following a business robbery in Ophir Estates on 31 July 2026, intelligence led members to the main suspect in Boundary Road. Further investigations resulted in the arrest of 4 suspects in Sicelo and the recovery of a stolen cellphone and other suspected stolen property.

All suspects were detained and handed over to Meyerton SAPS.
