Video 3: Brain fog, the internet void, and finding what’s real. 🫠☕️

If you’ve been following my Rejection Therapy series, you know I was supposed to post Video 2 days ago. Long story short: Video 2 disappeared into the digital abyss. We don’t talk about Video 2. 🪦💀

But trying to script Video 3 this week completely broke my brain. I woke up a few days ago to a world that felt entirely upside down. On one hand, I was watching the news and social media timelines spin narratives about the protests on the ground that looked absolutely nothing like reality. I watched people sitting indoors, glued to their phones, tweeting about the outside—while the actual people outside were living a completely different truth. It’s scary how easily information gets warped by bias.

In the midst of all that heavy noise and heartbreak, I needed to remind myself of what is real.

So, I looked back at the footage I captured during the Bafana Bafana World Cup run. We didn’t get the fairytale ending against Canada, but look at that montage. Look at those faces. That wasn’t filtered through an algorithm or a biased headline. That was pure, unfiltered South African unity. Massive shoutout to the incredible people I met on the ground who reminded me what community actually feels like. 🇿🇦❤️

Rejection therapy started as a way for me to handle the fear of being perceived by the world. But this week taught me a much bigger lesson: the world’s perception is usually warped anyway.

The real vulnerability isn’t the final score, and it’s not the corporate noise. It’s having the courage to keep hoping, keep showing up, and staying grounded in your own truth when everything else is spinning.

We dust ourselves off, and we keep moving forward. See you in part 4. 👇✨
