A year after his passing and as we celebrate his birthday on the 21st of September, we are happy to also have his new music released.

Emdee Kubheka was a genius, a sharp shooter, Kasi lyricist who turned samples into a marvel.

This Project here Saint Seni, he resembles change, courage to stand out and also sharing an important message of self awareness, authenticity.

He during his days had changed a lot with his life, from how he started out with Deep Soweto & being a duo with Ghetto Mpilo, to him recording his first Album (Streets Is Mad in 2011) at CWJ, Soweto at Corner 36 Productions.

That Music changed a lot from how rappers approach their pen, the lyrics and topics he did used as a 23 year old.

Through that he went through a lot that built up to his new project titled Brown Bag (2016), through the help of Rev Tumza, Da**ie and General, the tape was his cry inside the ghetto that keeps on changing us, from alcohol, drugs, s*x n peer pressure of life, he wrote brown bag which had a deep darker message.

In 2022 Emdee paid our studio a visit, met up with AV room ( Lungelo Makhanya) and they recorded a song titled "Shed so many Tears" whic started it all. Blaq Faith cane through with his production and recordings started

Through our the sessions our brother told us through a lot of stories about him changing and why he is recording this album. It was the tape that speaks of his journey to discovery m change

Saint Seni - the title itself we argued over it as he wanted to say "It is Finished" which we settled for Saint Seni because to us he was becoming a Saint in front of us and he had a track titled Saint Seni.
