👮‍♂️Crime Report👮‍♂️

On 27/8/2026 around 16h00 while conducting patrol duties in the Crown Gardens Ridgeway area, two school boys stopped our vehicle and reported that they had been robbed at the corner of Celliers and Shannon Street.

The two victims were robbed of a school bag and pointed to the direction in which the suspects fled. S.A.Ranger Reaction officers searched the area and found the 2 suspects in Limerick st. They were positively identified by the victims. One of the suspects was still in possession of the stolen school bag. They were places in custody and handed over to SAPS.

While at the police station, another 16 year old victim arrived and reported that the same two suspects had also attempted to rob her of her cellphone.

👮‍♂️Crime Update 👮‍♂️

On 23/8/2026 around 22h00 S.A.Rangers response officers were dispatched to Landsborough rd, Robertsham where suspects were being pursued. Our reaction officers intervened and 3 Suspects were aprehended. The suspects were trying to steel cables from a manhole. The suspects were handed over to SAPS.

👮‍♂️Crime Report 👮‍♂️

On 22/8/2026 around 16h50 S.A.Rangers control room again received a call about a break in in progress at a house in Exeter st, Robertsham. Our Response officers responded, checked the premises and found a suspect hiding in the garage. Seems he broke in through the roof and was stripping cabes and electrical components from the house. This is the same house they tried the previous night, where we also caught a suspect. The Suspect was detained and when questioned he said he stayed on the Mine dump/yellow mountain. The suspect was handed over to SAPS.

Around 03h30 on 22/8/2026 S.A.Rangers control room received a call about an attempted break in at our client in Exeter st, Robertsham. While patrolling the surrounding area they found a suspect who started running when approached. The suspect was aprehended and breaking implements were found in his possession. The suspect was handed over to SAPS.

👮‍♂️Crime Report👮‍♂️

On 10/8/2026 At 16H10 S.A.Ranger Response officers were dispatched to a business in Kindon rd for reports of a break in in progress and on arrival they heard voices inside the premises they immediately processed to the back of the premises which is on the mine dump and apprehended 2 suspects.
Our control tracked down and notified the owner. The suspects were handed over to SAPS for further investigation.

Around 04h15 on 21/7/2026. While a S.A.Ranger patrol officer was patrolling the Robertsham area we received a call about 2 suspicious people on Longmoor rd. On arrival the suspects ran and our officer managed to aprehended one of them. The suspect was found with cutting tools and on investigation it was found that they had cut cables on on one of the street poles. The Suspect was handed over to City Power security and SAPS.

Around 19h00 on 28/6/2026 S.A.Ranger response and Fire teams responded to a fire at a businesson Kitty st Chrisville. The Fire was in one of the downstairs offices. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire and limit the damage to a small part of the building, avoiding a major catastrophe. Thank you to Secure fire and COJ for assistance.

On 24/6/2026 around 16h20 an S.A.Ranger patrol officer noticed somone pushing a Pic it up dustbin near Columbine Ave, Mondeor. The man was stopped and on investigation it was found that the bin was stolen from a house further up Columbine ave. The home owner was contacted and the bin full of scrap metal was handed over to SAPS and the owner for further processing. Thank you to Shane from Mondeor CPF for assistance.
