He crossed the line in 5:59:20 during adidas’ ‘Chasing 100’ project—becoming the first to break the 6-hour barrier. To put that in perspective, that’s like running ten straight 10km races at 35:56 each, non-stop!

RUMOR CHECK: Black Coffee & Gang Allegations

A resurfaced photo online allegedly shows Black Coffee, DJ Sumbody, and an alleged gang figure sparking rumors that Black Coffee was questioned as part of the DJ Sumbody murder case.

✅ The Facts:

In July 2025, South African authorities arrested four suspects for the 2022 murder of DJ Sumbody and his two bodyguards.

Among the suspects is Sandton businessman Katiso “KT” Molefe, alleged to be the mastermind; three others are suspected hitmen.

Ballistics linked the murder weapon to at least 10 other violent crimes, suggesting organized crime involvement.

The case has been adjourned to July 29, 2025 and is still ongoing.

❌ No credible evidence connects Black Coffee to any questioning or investigation. No official statement or reputable news source has made that claim.

There's been a fuel price hike effective Wednesday, 2 July 2025, marking the first increase after a four‑month break.

This means:

Petrol up by about R0.50/l

Diesel up by roughly R0.80–0.84/l

Paraffin and LPG also see notable increases (LPG varies by province)

Fuel costs have a domino effect on everyday prices, expect higher food and transport costs soon
