Looking for Smalltalk developer...

Position Purpose
The successful candidate will join a highly skilled agile team that is responsible for
the evolution and upkeep of a Linked Investment Service Provider software
platform.
Experience & Qualifications
• Relevant Degree.
• 5-8 years experience as a software developer.
• Extensive experience in Object Orientated development languages (at least 5
years).
• Experience in SQL (at least 2 years).
• Experience in build, release and test automation.
• Knowledge of enterprise, SOA and development patterns and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of unit and integration testing.
• Experience in IBM MQ and Gemstone Smalltalk will be an advantage.
The Incumbent will be responsible for:
• Implementing solutions within the confines of the existing application framework
and architecture.
• Providing technical assistance to support staff.
• Continuously improving and refactoring existing application architecture.
• Continuously verifying code compliance to architectural standards, structures
and practices.
• Providing technical assistance to dev-ops engineers and peers.
• Continuously extending and enriching the Unit and integration test suites.
