Craig Long has been appointed as the National Operations Manager at Grid Protection, bringing with him over 30 years of extensive experience within the military, policing, and private security sectors.
Craig began his career serving in the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) for 2 years before joining the South African Police Service (SAPS), where he served with distinction for 19 years.
During his time within SAPS, he gained valuable expertise in tactical operations, crime prevention, investigations, operational management, and law enforcement leadership.
Following his public service career, Craig held senior operational and security management positions within leading organisations, including Fidelity Security Services for 5 years, Head of Security at Attacq Property Management for 4 years, and Fides Security Solutions for 6 years.
His extensive knowledge and operational capabilities include Tactical Operations, Crime Prevention, Investigations, Fi****ms Training, Health and Safety Compliance, Emergency Medical Response, and Fire Fighting Services.
Craig’s appointment forms part of Grid Protection’s continued commitment to strengthening operational excellence, service delivery, and client support across South Africa.
His leadership, experience, and industry knowledge will further enhance the company’s ability to provide professional, reliable, and strategic security solutions to all clients and stakeholders
