The South African Maskandi community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of one of its distinctive voices, Scebi Dlamini, popularly known as Inkosi Yamagcokama.

Dlamini left us on Sunday, 9 August 2026, following a tragic road accident in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport confirmed that the artist succumbed to severe injuries at the scene of the accident.
