So, what exactly is Tshepa Basadi Minerals? 👀

Tshepa Basadi Minerals is the mining arm of Tshepa Basadi Group, with a focus on responsible mineral exploration and battery metals.

For us, mining is about more than what’s beneath the ground. It’s about exploring opportunities responsibly, creating meaningful impact and contributing to the future of the industry.

We’re building, exploring and growing, and there’s plenty more to come.

Mining projects can place significant pressure on internal teams, particularly when specialist expertise, additional capacity or stronger project structures are required.

Tshepa Basadi Project Management works alongside project teams to bring the structure, expertise and support needed across demanding project environments, from project management and PMO support to property development and stakeholder engagement.

The focus is simple: strengthen the environment around the project so teams are better equipped to deliver.

Need additional capability on your next project? Let’s talk.

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. 🐘Every complex project has one.

The deadline everyone knows is a little too ambitious. The scope that keeps growing. A communication gap that’s starting to show. Or a risk that probably should have been raised sooner.

So, we’re curious. Which one have you seen cause the biggest challenge on projects?
A. Unrealistic timelines
B. Scope creep
C. Poor communication
D. Risks raised too late

Drop your answer in the comments and if your biggest project “elephant” isn’t on our list, tell us what we missed.

There’s something powerful about being in a room filled with women who are actively shaping the future of mining and petroleum.

We had the opportunity to exhibit, connect with fellow industry professionals, exchange ideas and be part of conversations about the role women continue to play across the sector.

These spaces matter. They create room for new relationships, greater visibility and conversations that can turn into opportunities long after the event has ended.

A memorable day, and definitely one worth revisiting.

Responsible mining is about more than what happens during extraction. It considers how the decisions made today affect people, communities and the environments in which mining operations exist long after a project is complete.

That means thinking about responsible resource use, environmental management, safety, community impact and the long-term sustainability of mining operations from planning through to delivery.

For project teams, this requires careful planning, strong risk management and disciplined ex*****on throughout the project lifecycle.

The work happening today should create value that lasts beyond the project itself.

Looking for experienced project management support for your mining projects? Connect with Tshepa Basadi Group to explore how we can support your project from planning through to delivery.

What happens outside the workplace matters inside it too.

GBV is not an issue that businesses can distance themselves from. The people affected are our colleagues, families, friends and members of the communities in which we operate.

Workplaces have an opportunity to help build cultures where difficult conversations can happen, harmful behaviour is challenged and people feel supported.

This was one of the ways our team chose to start that conversation. The responsibility to keep it going belongs to all of us.

Building stronger communities means showing up where it matters.
Our impact extends beyond project delivery. Through community initiatives and partnerships, we continue to support organisations creating meaningful change in the communities around them.

One of those initiatives came from Divine Ladies Football Club in Kuruman, who turned their football tournament into an opportunity to give back. The team visited vulnerable families in Deerward Village and donated essential groceries, with Tshepa Basadi Group supporting the outreach.

What stood out to us was the thinking behind it: a team asking for support, not only for themselves, but so they could support others too. That is the kind of community spirit worth getting behind.

Because meaningful progress is not only measured by what we build, but by the communities that grow alongside us.

We started with a dream. Today, it's a story built by our team, backed by our clients, and shaped by every win, every lesson, every late night that got us here.

Tshepa Basadi was honoured to sponsor the Northern Cape Women in Mining Golf Day, held on Friday, 28 August 2026 at the Kalahari Country Club in Kathu.

The event brought together women professionals, industry leaders, and partners across the mining value chain for a day of connection, collaboration, and empowerment. Supporting initiatives like this aligns deeply with our commitment to advancing women in mining and creating platforms where their leadership and talent can shine.

We are proud to have contributed to an event that not only celebrates excellence, but also strengthens networks and opens doors for future opportunities in our sector.

A sincere thank you to the Northern Cape Women in Mining Steering Committee for hosting a powerful and impactful event. And a heartfelt thank you to the Tshepa Basadi team for showing up, supporting this wonderful cause, and representing our organisation with pride and purpose. We look forward to continuing our partnership and driving meaningful change across the industry.
