🚨 RAPID RESPONSE. COMMUNITY SAFETY.

At Rhino Security, our first priority is protecting our clients, but we also care deeply about the safety of our wider community.

Recently, we received a call about a suspicious individual who had jumped over the wall of a property belonging to a non-client. Although our reaction officers must prioritise calls from our clients, we recognised the urgency of the situation.

While we would normally contact SAPS for assistance in such cases, we knew that every second counted. Our team responded immediately, and thanks to their rapid response, the suspects fled the scene before a break-in could take place. A potentially dangerous situation and possible injury were also avoided.

This is what community safety means to us. While our contractual responsibilities remain our priority, we will always do our best to assist where we can when circumstances allow.

🔹 Report suspicious persons or vehicles immediately.
🔹 Keep your security systems armed and in working order.
🔹 Never confront suspicious individuals yourself.

🚨 ROBBERY IN SMARTIE TOWN, KATHU – DO YOU RECOGNISE THESE MEN? 🚨

CCTV footage of a robbery that took place in Smartie Town, Kathu, on 11 October at approximately 20:00 shows three men entering a local tuckshop.

The men took various items from the shop before fleeing the scene.

🚨 RHINO SECURITY – BREAK-IN RESPONSE UPDATE

Between yesterday and this morning, our teams responded to two break-in incidents in our area — one at a non-client’s premises and another at a client’s property.

Our reaction teams immediately launched investigations and followed up on information regarding the possible location of the stolen items.

Through quick action and coordinated efforts, reaction officers Lourens, James, Bradley and Jaco proceeded to the identified area, where they successfully recovered most of the stolen items.

The suspects have been identified, and our teams are actively working to locate them.

👏 Well done to our reaction officers for their swift response, dedication and teamwork in helping recover the stolen property.

🚨 QUICK RESPONSE BY OUR KATHU REACTION TEAM! 🚨

Tonight, we received a call reporting a suspected robbery in Kathu. Our reaction officers, George, Matthew, Louis and PJ, immediately responded and pursued the suspected vehicle.

The vehicle was stopped and escorted back to the premises, where it was established that the incident was the result of a major miscommunication. The situation was resolved successfully.
