WHAT MAKES MTE DIFFERENT? 👀

We asked our team two simple questions:

What makes MTE different?
And what’s your favourite thing about working here?

Rather than answering for them, we thought we’d let the people behind MTE tell you themselves.

Different perspectives. One team.

MEET MR. PAUL. 👷

You might spot him standing beneath a tree at Avalon14, but he’s there for an important reason.

Mr. Paul serves as a daily reminder to everyone on site that safety comes first.

Wear the correct PPE. Look out for yourself. Look out for the person working beside you. And never let getting the job done become more important than getting it done safely.

As our operation in Zim continues to develop, there will be plenty of milestones to celebrate - but protecting the people behind that progress remains one of our highest priorities.

Work safely. Look out for each other. Get everyone home safely.

EVERY OPERATION HAS TO START SOMEWHERE. ⛏️

When the team first arrived at Avalon14, one of the first priorities was simple: establish a base, get the essentials in place and get to work.

What started as a basic setup has gradually became a working base for the team on the ground.

This is a glimpse of where it started, and where it is now.

Because building an operation doesn’t happen all at once. It happens step by step.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE OF MINING LOOK LIKE? ⛏️

We sat down with the CEO Jacques Roux to talk about the future of mining, how he sees MTE evolving over the next few years, and what excites him most about what lies ahead.

Here’s just a snippet of the conversation. 🎥

Throwing it back to a great week at Electra Mining Africa 2026!

The MTE team spent plenty of time at the show throughout the week, reconnecting with familiar faces, making new connections and experiencing some of the latest technology, equipment and ideas shaping our industry.

There’s always something energising about seeing so many different parts of the mining and industrial sectors come together under one roof - sharing ideas, starting conversations and creating new opportunities.

We left with some great connections, valuable conversations and plenty of excitement about what lies ahead for mining in Africa.

Until next time, Electra Mining Africa !

Before the mine comes the work.

The planning.
The preparation.
The long days.
The people making it happen.

You’ve seen the glimpses from Zimbabwe on our Stories. Now, here’s a look behind the scenes at the build-up to bringing the project together.

And we’re only getting started. 🇿🇼

Behind every successful mining project is a strong team.

We asked the MTE team two simple questions:

👉 What makes our team strong?
👉 Describe the team in three words.

The answers may have been different, but they all came back to the same thing: success isn’t built by individuals. It’s built by people working together towards a common goal.

At MTE, we’re proud of the people behind every project, every challenge and every success. ⛏️

🎵 We asked the MTE team one simple question…

“What song represents the MTE team?”

And while we expected five completely different answers, four out of five people had the exact same song in mind. 😄

Coincidence? We think not.

Safe to say MTE may have found its unofficial anthem. 🎶
