‼️SUCCESS REPORT ‼️.

On the evening of 20 June 2025, whilst doing Patrols in the Birchleigh area, A community member stopped us in distress, the victim informed us that, she had been stopped by a WM who told her that he stopped her because she had jumped a stop sign. He then told her that he would arrest her if she didn't pay up for the jumping of a stop sign. He then went on to produce a SAPS appointment card.

The description we got for the suspect was a WM, wearing a Yellow reflector jacket, blue Jeans, The lady was terrified and suspected that this person couldn't be a police officer as his approach was very off putting.

We then proceeded to search the area for the above mentioned suspect. The suspect was then found minutes later in a street nearby. The suspect is known to us in the area and has been problematic before.

Suspect was detained and taken to Norkem Park SAPS for profiling and further investigations free from any injuries.

Charge.: Impersonating a Police Officer, In possession of SAPS Appointment Card.

‼️ Success Report ‼️

On the 5th June 25, around midday, we received a message from our Share It Group stating that there was a Polo that had been stopped by Kempton EMPD district, with items that appear to be stolen goods.

Upon SD1 and Charlie Romeo's arrival on the scene, we identified the same vehicle that was used in an Attempted Murder of a male student/Attempted Kidnapping of a female student, and Attempted Armed Robbery on the 23rd May 2025 in Birchleigh at 07h30.

We managed to link the cases that they had prior together, as they too had committed a robbery in the Roodepoort area earlier that day, and along with alot more we are certain of.

The suspects were taken to Kempton Park SAPS for further investigation, and to see if there were any other cases that the 5 suspects were linked to.

Suspects were charged as follows:

Suspect 1: Attempted Murder, Attempted Kidnapping, Attempted Armed Robbery.
Suspect 2: Robbery and Possession of stolen goods.
Suspect 3: Robbery and Possession of stolen goods.
Suspect 4: Robbery and Possession of stolen goods.
Suspect 5: Robbery and Possession of stolen goods.
