Infinity Tech Services is a leading commercial bagging and slicing service provider based in Springs. We deliver high-quality workmanship daily to maintain high-volume, automated production machinery.
Position Purpose
Your goal is to maximize the uptime, safety, and efficiency of automated slicers and bagging machinery. You will handle complex breakdowns, execute precision preventative maintenance, and ensure production targets are met safely.
Key Responsibilities
Breakdown Repair: Rapidly troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
Automation Maintenance: Diagnose sensor faults, time machines, and synchronize production lines.
Preventative Maintenance: Execute blade alignments, timing adjustments, and component rebuilds.
Precision Adjustments: Fine-tune conveyor speeds, scoop assemblies, and flighted pushers.
Food Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols.
Safety Leadership: Enforce strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols during all interventions.
Digital Logging: Track and log all completed work using a mobile phone application.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Matric (Grade 12) with technical know-how or a Fitter Trade qualification.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in FMCG or commercial bakeries.
Machinery Expertise: Experience with Hartman, Dowson, Flow wrappers, or similar high-speed brands.
Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of automated controls, mechanical linkages, and timing alignment.
Electrical Skills: Basic electrical knowledge (24V / 220V / 380V) is required.
Logistics: Valid driver's license and your own reliable transport are mandatory.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Willingness to travel on the road across Africa.
Ability to work weekends and overtime based on customer schedules.
Comfort working in fast-paced environments with varying temperatures.
Ability to lift heavy parts and work around sharp, automated machinery.
