Take a look at the sample LAN diagram on the right. One view but endless information! One view and you instantly have: Number of Router/FW connections, Router/FW IPs, Router/FW port numbers, ISP name and Router IP, next hop IP.

Look back to the source element that makes your Business IT Network functional...IP addressing. So easily neglected by management cause "it's working fine". No proper documentation cause it's just an IP address...your Network Team knows the network - it's all in their heads, so no issue ... Not the ideal situation right!

Back to Basics ... Back to the source element that makes your Business IT Network functional...IP addressing. So easily neglected by management cause "it's working fine". No proper documentation cause it's just an IP address...John or Pete or Susan or Jack knows the network - it's all in their heads, so no issue ... Not the ideal situation right!
