Perform site surveys to determine optimal equipment placement and connectivity options.

Install, configure, and maintain fibre optic and wireless internet systems in residential and commercial settings.
โ
Install and terminate fibre optic cables, connectors, and related equipment neat and professionally to Company Standards.
โ
Mount and align wireless access points, antennas, and associated hardware.
โ
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve customer complaints.
โ
Conduct thorough testing and quality checks to ensure optimal system performance.
โ
Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding internet connectivity.
โ
Adhere to safety procedures and industry standards when working with fibre optic and wireless equipment.
โ
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
โ
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and customer interactions.
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐:
โ Live in or near Kleinmond.
โ Proven experience as a fibre/wireless technician with contactable references.
โ Strong knowledge of fibre optic and wireless networking principles.
โ Proficiency in installing and terminating fibre optic cables.
โ Familiarity with various fibre optic and wireless equipment, such as routers, switches, and access points.
โ Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve network issues.
โ Basic understanding of IP networking and TCP/IP protocols.
โ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation guidelines and specifications.
โ Effective communication and customer service skills.
โ Must be reliable, professional and presentable.
โ Grade 12 Certificate.
โ Valid, Unrestricted Code 8 driver's license.
โ Clean criminal record.
โ Ability to work well in groups and independently.
โ Must be prepared to work overtime.
โ Own transport to and from work.
Salary negotiable according to experience.
