"What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead" - Nelson Mandela

For Mandela Day 2023 we made the Jar of Hope project our own.
Filling 200 jars and 100 bags with soup ingredients which can feed up to 6 people each.
We distributed it to 4 institutions in our area:

*67 Minutes for Mandela Day 2022*

"There can be no greater gift than that of giving one's time, energy & resources to help others without expecting anything in return" Nelson Mandela

We were privileged to assist Oasis of givers NPO and reach out to the elderly in our local community. Most of the time it is rather difficult for them to survive on their SASSA grants; so we handed out food parcels consisting of fresh vegetables, non-perishable foods and basic toiletries. We could also help with ingredients for their upcoming soup drive.

Thank you to Tau Meule Voere for sponsoring 70 packets of maize meal. Your contribution is highly appreciated.
