REMINDER:

Applications for the 2025 Music Creation Support Fund (MCSF) opened on 10 December 2024 and will close on 31 January 2025.

This year, R3 million in funding is available to support 120 qualifying Full and Associate Members, with each recipient eligible for a grant of up to R25,000.

The Music Creation Support Fund (MCSF) is a flagship Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme established by SAMRO in 2021 to provide financial support to its members for new compositions and for the completion of EPs, albums, videos, or music scores.

For this intake, applicants must not have received any SAMRO CSI support in the past 3 years.

All applications will be assessed by a panel of music industry professionals based on the originality of the work, the potential for success, and the feasibility of the work plan.

Please note late submissions will not be considered.

All eligible Full and Associate Members are advised to check their emails for further information and application instructions.

Are you a music creator?
Are you ready to apply for SAMRO membership?
Applying for SAMRO membership is easy.

Requirements:

- You must have created musical works or have works that are publicly performed or broadcasted.
- It's best to apply as soon as your works are created.

Fees:

- R100 for Composers and Authors
- R500 for Publishers (Current members are exempt)

To Apply:

- Required documents: ID copy, proof of address and bank confirmation letter.
