Position: Field Network Technician - Based in Komatipoort

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Field Network Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting wireless and fibre internet services across semi-rural areas. This role requires technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments.

Key Duties:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot internet services (wireless, fibre, LAN, and network security).
- Conduct site surveys and assess connectivity requirements.
- Deliver professional customer support, both on-site and remotely.
- Ensure installations meet quality, safety, and company standards.

Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across semi-rural service areas.
- Proven experience in wireless networking and/or fibre installations.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
- Professional, dependable, and safety-conscious.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights (e.g., rooftops, towers, poles).

Advantageous:

- Experience with MikroTik, Ubiquiti, or similar networking equipment.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, N+, or equivalent).
- Fluency in a second South African language to serve a diverse customer base.
- Prior WISP/ISP industry experience.
