Yesterday’s clean-up campaign was a powerful demonstration of what true collective action can achieve. Kwande Eco Enviro, together with our dedicated partners Seriti Institute - NPC, Breathe Cities , Clean Air Fund , A Cleaner Joburg , the City of Joburg , and our "Bring Your Books for Cash" initiative with the kids joined forces with the community to reclaim our environment one street at a time.
From clearing illegal dumping hotspots to collecting recyclables and engaging residents on proper waste separation, every moment of the day was driven by purpose. Through this joint effort, we directly helped mitigate waste burning, reduce harmful air pollution, and prevent the spread of health risks that come from unmanaged waste.
Thank you to every volunteer, every community member, and every partner organisation whose commitment made this campaign a success. Together, we are building cleaner spaces, protecting our air, and shaping a greener tomorrow♻️💚. Unity makes the difference and yesterday, we proved it.💚
