Happy Heritage Day, South Africa 🇿🇦

Our diversity is one of our greatest strengths. We come from different cultures, backgrounds and communities, but we share a country, a future, and the responsibility to keep building it together.

At ZCT Group, we believe that our progress will continue to be driven by our ability to work together, respect our differences and recognise the value that each of us brings.

May our unity continue to propel us forward, and may our diversity remain a source of strength as we build a better and more prosperous South Africa.

Happy Heritage Day from all of us at ZCT Group.

Having attended the Smart Procurement World Indaba on 15 and 16 September, I would firstly like to commend the SPW team for consistently putting together such a well-organised and properly executed event.

As exhibitors, the opportunities and exposure we receive from platforms like this are invaluable. More importantly, the conversations and relationships established at the Indaba do not end when the event closes. We have been able to connect with people and businesses that we believe can become long-term partners as we continue building ZCT Group.

On our second year attending, we have learned something new with each encounter. We gain a better understanding of the market, meet other SMMEs facing similar challenges, engage directly with corporates and industry leaders, and identify opportunities that can contribute towards the growth of our business.

A special thank you to Afrimat for sponsoring our exhibition space and continuing to create opportunities for SMMEs such as ourselves to access these platforms. Being in the room and having the opportunity to present our business, build relationships and engage with decision-makers makes a real difference.

We now return to our operations with renewed confidence and a greater responsibility to turn the exposure and relationships gained into real opportunities.

Ultimately, our focus remains the same: to build a growing, sustainable ZCT Group that will be here for generations to come.

Attending Electra Mining Africa 2026 for the first time this year was a valuable experience, not only because of the scale of the event, but because of the level of organisation, ex*****on, and industry participation.

Over the four days, ZCT Group had the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, gain insight into the direction of the sector, and identify opportunities that can meaningfully influence how we position and grow our business.

Experiences like this reinforce my belief that building a competitive company requires more than operational capability. It requires access, relationships, continuous learning, and the willingness to put yourself in rooms where decisions, partnerships, and opportunities are being shaped.

We leave Electra Mining with a stronger perspective, better industry exposure, and a clear commitment to building ZCT Group with greater efficiency, stronger partnerships, and long-term sustainability.

This is only the beginning.

Today, ZCT Group, through ZCT Logistics, had the privilege of sponsoring a pool tournament hosted by Sbu Advertisement at Sbu Kota Shop in Bodibe Village.

This initiative is another example of our continued commitment to community development. At ZCT Group, we believe that sport has the power to bring people together, create opportunities, and positively impact lives.

While this pool tournament may seem like a small programme today, we see tremendous potential in it. With the right support and partnerships, it can grow into one of the major community initiatives that creates opportunities, develops talent, and changes lives in our village and beyond.

We therefore encourage other businesses and stakeholders to come on board and support initiatives like these. Together, we can build programmes that leave a lasting impact on our communities.

Thank you to Sbu Advertisement and everyone who participated and contributed to the success of today’s event. This is only the beginning.
