Good day,
My name is Jenna Rosenberg from Lutzville in the Matzikama West Coast region. I am reaching out on behalf of our community during a very difficult time following severe flood damage in our area.
Our town is currently on day 9 without electricity, and many families are struggling to cope with the ongoing crisis. The lack of power has affected access to food preparation, lighting, and basic daily needs, leaving vulnerable households in urgent need of support.
We humbly appeal to any organization, radio station, business, church, sponsor, or individual who may be willing to assist our community with emergency relief supplies. Items most urgently needed include:
• Candles and lighting supplies
• Porridge or breakfast essentials
• Soup and non-perishable food items
• Ingredients for meals
• Flour for bread-making over open fires
• Any additional food parcels or basic necessities
Any contribution, big or small, would make a meaningful difference to families facing hardship during this disaster. We are willing to coordinate distribution within the community to ensure assistance reaches those most in need.
