I'm shifting my focus towards Primary Co Operatives.
Why ?
Well, I can think of 3 key reasons right off the bat, apart from the ease of maintaining compliance for this form of business.
Firstly; I've realised over the years that one man businesses can be challenging to run. There are so many admin & marketing tasks to handle on a daily basis, that business owners often miss out on opportunities which they could have easily capitalized from with a bit of extra Human Resources. Together Each Achieves More (T.E.A.M)
Secondly; Co Operatives are all about participation, collaboration & collective efforts. They create an environment where skills, expertise, resources and connections can be shared. Having a structured organisation with individuals who bring a variety of assets to the table, is a good foundation to create opportunities. As the saying goes; " If you want to go fast go alone, If you want to go far go together".
Lastly; There are more business support and development opportunities available for Co-Ops. Thresholds for financial interventions as well as initiatives for Non Financial Support for cooperative societies are more substantial compared to other business forms.
